ON Tuesday, January 17, movie-goers had another wonderful night at Ishyo Theatre’s Hall, thanks to Goethe-Institut-German Cultural Centre.

The fairly attended movie screening started at 6:30p.m with "The Raid”, and, thereafter, people had a 15-minute break before enjoying another enthralling episode "The Betrayal”.

"Face to Face with Crime” (2010) "Im Angesicht des Verbrechens” (original title), is a 50 minute German thriller series by Dominik Graf.

Berlin based cap Marek, who is of Russian descent, is looking for the murder of his brother. The Ukrainian girl called Jelena has come to Germany in promise of work but is forced into prostitution.

Both get drawn into a power struggle of the mafia facing police corruption and the drama of human trafficking.

However, if you missed the first episodes, no problem: there will be a flashback at the beginning of each new one.

Every Tuesday, Goethe-Institut in Kacyiru hosts free movie nights and various cultural events, including music performances and comedy to boost the culture of theater experience and entertainment in Rwanda.

Meanwhile, next week the screening will take place Wednesday, instead of Tuesday 24, because of Jacques-Greg Belobo’s concert. The episodes to be screened are: 5 (Only honorable love is worthy) and 6 (Roses from Heaven).
