THE move by the Ministry of Health to sack the Rwamagana Hospital Director over poor hygiene sends a strong warning to other hospital officials throughout the country.

However, it would be ideal if the inspection is done regularly and extended to all hospitals.

During a recent visit, I was confounded by the state of affairs at one of Kigali’s hospitals which should ideally be a trailblazer in healthcare provision.
