"So far I have no regrets about how I spent my money during the festive season because this is something that happens once in a year. I think if everyday was the festive season I would be sick of shopping vouchers.”

Dan Kaguta, Self employed

"The festive season forces us to be extravagant because at the end of the day, there are many things you have to cater for. Back in the day, people spent less because responsibilities were limited. Today you need to try and spend less or save money that will help needy people other than wasting it on one or two days of pleasure.”

John Twinokushima, Gikondo resident.

"I have no regrets because I spent accordingly since I had plans after the festive season.”

Valence Rutazibwa, Remera Resident.

"Most people tend to think that the more you spend, the more you enjoy during the festive season but the fact is you need to budget for it. Personally I have no regrets because I budgeted for all expected expenses prior to the season.”
