A City Radio DJ, who was recently arrested after he was charged with impregnating a minor, was released on bail and is now back on air. The “Lunch Jams” and “Furahiday Night” host, Adam Aboubakar, who uses the moniker “DJ Adams” on radio, was charged on December 12, 2011, for impregnating underage girl.

He allegedly stayed with the minor in his house for a week.
The 35-year-old DJ, who was imprisoned for at least one month, was later released on bail, thanks to City Radio which hired for him a lawyer.
"It’s the company’s policy that if any of our employees is facing a legal charge, the company hires a lawyer for the employee. That is what we did for DJ Adams,” Director of City Radio Kelvin Katuramu, said in an interview.
"You cannot convict someone until they are found guilty. So, as far as I know, DJ Adams is innocent until he is proven guilty. If he is found guilty for the crime he is charged of, the company will take serious measures,” he concluded.
