                                                                         Marine vs Isonga

ISONGA FC is looking to build on last week’s Primus League win when it plays away to Marine this afternoon at Umuganda Stadium.

The youthful side, which has added Amavubi’s assistant coach Eric Nshimiyimana to its technical bench, ended a three-match winless run with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Nyanza and is desperate to build on that result this afternoon.

The two sides are separated by five points; Marine is in 9th place with nine points while Isonga are two places further back with four points.

However, Nshimiyimana, who missed Sunday’s 0-1 Peace Cup loss against defending champions APR, says his mission is to build confidence and cohesion in the side.

Isonga have boosted their squad with the arrival of former Proline Academy striker Aziz Bizimungu Kemba.

League games slated for this weekend include a clash between defending champions APR and La Jeunesse; Etincelles entertain AS Kigali, Amagaju host Nyanza, Marines play Kiyovu while Espoir play away to Mukura.

A titanic clash between Rayon Sport and Police will be staged on Sunday at Amahoro stadium.
