As predicted, Thierry Henry’s dream return to his old club Arsenal lived up to expectations of soccer fans around the world. All eyes were on the 34-year-old Frenchman as the Gunners hosted Leeds United on Monday Night’s FA cup.

Arsenal fans anxiously awaited to see if the legendary striker still had the golden touch.

He did not disappoint, Henry conjured up a fairytale return as a substitute to do what he used to do best; score exquisite goals. He received a standing ovation from all fans including the rivals.

It was very clear that King Henry as he was passionately referred to had returned. To the die-hard Arsenal fans, it was a dream come true. And to all soccer lovers, it was a memorable moment when history rewritten.
