“In Face of Crime” screens today at Ishyo Theater hall

After the Christmas and New Year break, Goethe-Institut Liaison office, in Kacyiru, Kigali, has reopened under the direction of Peter Stepan.

The new management promises to hold exciting new events to entice more concert enthusiasts and cinemagoers to enjoy their Tuesdays at Goethe-Institut office.

Today, evening at 6.30p.m, Goethe-Institut will stage the first two episodes of the crime series "Im Angesicht des Verbrechens”, (In Face of Crime).

Screening will take place at the Ishyo Theater hall, next to the Goethe-Institut Liaison office. Entrance is free. The series will be screened in original German language with English subtitles.

"Im Angesicht des Verbrechens” recounts not only the criminal motivations, temptations and seductions of the milieu, but also reveals the people who want to bring about change and believe in their community and are prepared to fight for it together.

The 2010 series were directed by Dominik Graf. This 10 part multi-layered, rich and fast paced TV series follows the stories of characters in and around the Russian mafia in Berlin, especially the story of the two main characters, Marek and Jelena.

All the ten episodes of the series will be screened on the following Tuesdays:

24.01.2012: Episode 5: (Only honorable love is worthy-

31.01.2012: Episode 7: (If you show fear, you’ve lost-Episode 8: What price Berlin?).

07.02.2012:  Episode 9: (You get what you deserve-Episode 10: Everything in its time).
