Allow me through your paper to comment on President Paul Kagame visit to South Africa where he attended the African National Congress (ANC) Centennial celebrations, at the invitation of his counterpart, Jacob Zuma.

As a Rwandan in South Africa, I was thrilled by the visit given that Rwanda and South. Africa have overcome what Rwandan High Commissioner to South Africa Vincent Karega termed as small diplomatic incidents thus announcing to the world that the two countries enjoy strong diplomatic relations.

We are a big community in South Africa and it makes us proud to see the two countries cooperate at the highest level. Our embassy is also doing a great job to represent our interests and facilitate us in all ways.

Bravo Rwanda and South Africa, Bravo our Presidents and the people of the two countries. African countries need closer ties.
