Having a background in technology encouraged Claudine Uwintije to pursue her dream and study electronics but the massive negativity from people around almost destroyed it all.

"In life you can’t be told to lift something that is heavier that you. I carry this same theory in electronics and do whatever is in my capacity to achieve my dreams,” she says.

People would discourage her citing examples of how she cannot climb antennas but that did not stop her. Where there is a will there is a way, she always tells them.

"In today’s world we need more technology. I shall continue to carry on my daily duties at school and at work as well,” Uwintije adds.
