New travel document (laissez passer) is super cool

The old laissez passer was a burden and also an ugly document. It was outsized, meaning that one had to fold several times in order to keep it safe. Folding it would however wear it out easily after a short period of use. The new laissez passer that has a validity of two years means that travellers do not have to frequent the Immigration Department offices for renewal. Neither does one have to queue for long at immigration desks at airports and border posts as they are machine readable.
