The recent closure of Karongi community radio adversely affected many residents and traders as it had become a daily feature in our lives.

Now that the station has put in place all the necessary equipment to support its modern digital transmission technology, we hope there will be no more similar hitches in the future.

We shall continue to support the management of Karongi Community radio station in its endeavour to create a valuable platform for our children, traders and farmers.
