Rwanda football governing body, Ferwafa, has summoned 29 home-based foreign players featuring in the Primus football league to test Amavubi Stars in a series of friendly matches aimed at preparing the national team for crucial 2013 Nations’ Cup qualifier against Nigeria’s Super Eagles

According to Ferwafa Secretary General, Michel Gasingwa, the two matches with foreign players were requested by head coach Sredojovic ‘Micho’ Milutin.

As he requested the foreign players from their respective clubs, Gasingwa said, "In bid to prepare Amavubi team, coach Micho requested the named players to assist him in preparations for the upcoming qualifier. Kindly release these players,”

The Amavubi team plays a select team made up of foreigner players this January 4 and January 11.

Foreign players’ squad:

Robert Saaka (Mukura), Mike Sebera (Mukura), Juma Mpongo (Rayon Sports), Karim Nzigiyimana (Rayon Sports), Ndayisenga Faudi (Rayon Sports), Hussein Mbanza (Rayon Sports), Floribert Ndayisaba (Rayon Sports), Khamiss Cedric (Rayon Sports), Gilbert Kaze (Police), Othieno Deo (Police), Mike Sebalinga (Police).

Others are: Kadogo Alimansi (Police), Loddie (Police), Rivaldo (Police), Nani (Police), Simon Nyamugenda (Kiyovu Sports), Julius Bakabulindi (Kiyovu Sports), Godfrey Katerega (Kiyovu Sports), Simon Okwi  (Kiyovu Sports), Ali Mbogo (APR), Habibu Kavuma (APR), Diego (APR), Douglas (APR), Ndikumana Selemani (APR), Alex De Avila Peivotu (APR), Kabange Twite (APR), Papy Faty (APR), Dan Wagaruka (APR) and Silva Ochaya (Etincelles).
