I wish to respond to a story that appeared in yesterday’s issue of The NewTimes titled "Jealous woman kills infant.”  Is man evil by nature? Man was created in the image of God and killing a fellow human being is blasphemy.

I think the suspects should be medically examined because I cannot imagine a parent killing her own kid.

The suspect, Joeseline Mukandayisenga, who allegedly killed a two-year-old in Nkoma cell, Nyagatare District must on conviction be handed heavy punishment as a warning to other callous parents.

I grew up in a Christian family and nothing will ever justify taking someone else’s life.
