Christmas was a day of excitement for the concertgoers in Kigali, as Kizito Mihigo took them down to a great concert.

The concert dubbed: "Noheri, ubwiyunge bw’ijuru n’isi, igisobanuro cy’ubuhanzi”, (Christmas, the Heaven and Earth’s reconciliation and the meaning of Art), was organised by Kizito Mihigo pour la Paix - Kizito Mihigo for Peace Foundation (KMP). It started at 5:30pm.

It was Kizito’s first Christmas concert in Rwanda and the sensation singer presented a great performance, in front of more than 1500 fans at the Expo Ground in Gikondo.

The evening featured nonstop Christmas tunes, as Kizito took to the stage, simulating his popular tracks such as: "Arc en ciel”, "Iteme”, "Yohani yarabyanditse” and "Adeste fideles”, a Latin song.

The crowds were seen showing off their dancing skills, when St. Dominique children’s choir from Kacyiru, staged two Christmas songs "Aravutse umwana yezu” and "Ab’ijuru baririmba”.

The youngsters thrilled the audience and brought the big tent down, with their powerful performances and sweet voices.

Kizito also performed some of his secular songs, including his latest tracks "Umutima wa kimuntu”, a tribute to people living with mental disabilities and "Umuganda w’umugore”, revealing the role of a woman in the society.

The Mayor of Kicukiro District, Paul Jules Ndamage, was the chief guest at Kizito Mihigo’s Christmas concert.
