Two of the Rwandan Volleyball Professional players Yakan Guma Lawrence and Dusabimana Vincent a.k.a Gasongo are happy with their job at Algeria’s Etoile Eteif Sportive.

Gasongo and Yakan joined EES in October this year and they have been regularly in the starting line-up.

In a phone interview from Algiers, Gasongo said that they are improving and adapting very well in the league.

"We are missing home for real but we just have to concentrate on the job at hand. We’re learning new things every day playing in a professional league, and I hope the experience we’re gaining here will be useful for the national team,” noted Gasongo.

The pair signed a one-year deal which will end in July 2012. EES is on second place behind Bigea. The league will end in July and they are 36 matches remaining to be played.

Meanwhile, Mukunzi Christophe a.k.a Giba another Rwandan professional player of Blida Volleyball Club is still struggling with a back problem after being attacked by thugs in Blida.
