Editor,

Over the last 17 years, customer service in the various public as well as private sector, has improved, however, there is still room for further polishing up.

Rwandans ought to know that poor customer care risks slowing the momentum the country has picked in the endeavor to be the ideal tourist and investment destination.

This year, the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness index- TTCI Report ranked Rwanda first in the East African region in terms of conservation and a deliberate effort to fund tourism marketing.

However, we should note that the country was ranked fifth in the region in customer care in the tourism industry. I am sure, if we can work harder to improve the rankings.
