RWANDA tennis federation has named a strong team of seven players, who will compete at the forthcoming 2012 edition of ITF/CAT East African Junior Tennis championship slated for Burundi early next month. The federation’s technical director Placide Magambo said yesterday that they believe the selected players are good enough to compete for honors in Bujumbura.

The federation’s technical director Placide Magambo said yesterday that they believe the selected players are good enough to compete for honors in Bujumbura.
"This time round we have good players at the youth level. These players have continued to improve on their standards and this tournament will be a good platform for them to demonstrate their potential,” Magambo noted.
The players selected for next year’s tournament include Jules Ndibwami, Ernest Habiyambere, Olivier Havugimana, Prince Ishimwe, Fabrice Tuyishime, Thierry Niyonsaba and Olivier Tuyisenge.
