What happened to the anti-smoking bill

Editor,

I am writing to ask the lawmakers to speed up the tobacco control bill.

It is now common knowledge that smoking in public is dangerous for the non-smokers too.

I was recently having lunch  when a man seated next to me started smoking after his meal and pleas to request him to stop fell on deaf ears. To add injury to insult, he said it was his right to smoke and asked those inconvinienced to walk out!

In order to help protect the population, especially children and other non-smokers, Parliament ought to enact the bill.
