Davite reclaims national rally title
DAVITE Giancarlo wrapped up his third national title by claiming victory in the final round of the 2011 national rally championship on Sunday. Giancarlo won the Rally des Milles Collines after clocking one hour, 30 minutes and 50 seconds. Felekani Mayaka and Johnny Murengezi followed in second and third place, respectively.

DAVITE Giancarlo wrapped up his third national title by claiming victory in the final round of the 2011 national rally championship on Sunday.
Giancarlo won the Rally des Milles Collines after clocking one hour, 30 minutes and 50 seconds. Felekani Mayaka and Johnny Murengezi followed in second and third place, respectively.
The win moved Giancarlo to 125 points, 25 clear of last year’s champion Christakis. Felekani followed in third place with 62 points.
Giancarlo also won back to back titles in 2008 and 2009.
