Cervital Spa, an Algerian top food manufacturer, is set to establish operations in various sectors of the Rwandan economy, with a special focus on agriculture and energy.

This was disclosed, yesterday, by Issad Rebrab, the president of the company, after holding lengthy discussions with Prime Minister Pierre Damien Habumuremye in the latter’s offices in Kigali.

In interview with The New Times, the Premier said that the Algerians’ investment will help boost the country’s economy.

"We have discussed and agreed to invest in various sectors, especially increasing agricultural production, initiating an animal food processing industry, tea industries as well as a manure processing firm,” Habumuremye said.

They are also expected to help build capacity through extensive training.
