Set goals with measurable progress. Putting in place a criterion for measuring progress helps you to stay on track and make remarkable achievement within a given period. We should always have goals in our lives and plan to reach them. This can helps you to work hard and keep away from things that might stop us from reaching our goals.

We need to think critically about what we have done in our lives so far, and what we want to do in the near future. This should follow what can help us reach our destination of success. Remember that goals are dreams and hopes for the future. They include our plans for a future career, opportunities, friends and all sorts of ventures in life.

However, set goals cannot be achieved without purpose in life. Purpose is an important factor that fields great benefits in any person’s life. It provides motivation to constantly pursue the dream that one holds dear even in the face of negativity. Having a purpose makes one more selective and conscious of the people that he/she networks with. The type of  people with whom one networks and associates with plays a significant role in helping individuals get to their desired goals. The wrong association in some cases may bring destruction and discouragement that could possibly result in failure to fulfill a given purpose.
