Rwandans are set for a senstational performance from internationally acclaimed dancehall star Elephant Man, who is due to jet into the country, today at 11pm (local time) for a concert dubbed “Aho Ruzingiye” at the Gikondo Expo Ground in Kigali.

Elephant Man, who will be accompanied by a crew of seven people, is expected to perform some of his hit songs such as "Willie Bounce”, "Pon de River, "Drop Dead”, "Jamaica”, "Genie Dance”, "Bad Man”, "Nuh Linga” and "Log On”--- and attest to Rwandans why he is labelled the "Energy god”.
According to the organisers of the "Aho Ruzingiye” concert, the East African Promoters, concert-goers should get ready for performances from an array of local artistes as well as Elephant Man.
The concert starts at 5 pm, and the entrance fee is Rfw5, 000.
Elephant Man is famous for his non-stop action shows, climbing up onto scaffolding and dancing with lucky members of the audience.
He has performed in various African countries including Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Uganda, where he performed last night, and always leaves fans craving for more.
Kamichi, who will be launching his album "Umugabirwa”, will also grace the concert, alongside Urban Boys, Dream Boys, Jay Polly, Riderman and Knowles.
Born O’Neil Bryant on September 11, 1976, in Jamaica and better known as the "Energy god,” in Dancehall reggae circles, Elephant Man started his career in the early 90’s as a DJ, with the Scare Dem crew before going solo in 2000. He has eight albums, with over 12 international awards under his belt.
