Right Guards vs Impala Titans (Saturday)

THIS year, the Sulfo Cricket League will record a fourth winner when Right Guards take on Impala Titans in Saturday’s final at Kicukiro oval. With Kigali Cricket Club, Challengers and Indorwa all tasting victory, the onus is on Right Guards and Titans to join the list.

With Joshua Mwanja in their ranks, Right Guards have been in imperious form after winning all their round-robin matches including a famous win over the Titans.

However, Right Guards captain Derrick Bayingana insists that his side is not taking anything for granted this Saturday.

"I think our team has a psychological advantage but that counts for nothing if we don’t win the final,” he said.

"We will approach the game the same way we did in the group stages,” he added.
