Sgt. Robert, Kitoko to record a track

Local recording artist Sgt Robert Kabera is soon to record a track titled “Ubuntu” that will feature Afrobeat star Kitoko.  The Kinyarwanda track, whose subject matter is humanity would be produced by Uganda’s renowned music producer Washington David.

Local recording artist Sgt Robert Kabera is soon to record a track titled "Ubuntu” that will feature Afrobeat star Kitoko.

The Kinyarwanda track, whose subject matter is humanity would be produced by Uganda’s renowned music producer Washington David.

Washington has poriduced a number of songs in Uganda and East Africa which have seen him win numerous titles such as the PAM Award. The producer has previously worked with popular Uganda musicians such as Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool, Jose Chameleon, Cindy, Goodlyfe crew duo of Radio and Weasel, among others.

Sgt. Robert, who is also the lead singer in the Rwanda Army Jazz Band, is credited for his great tracks such as "Weekend” – whilst Kitoko, who is currently in South Africa, is regarded as Rwanda’s best Afrobeat artist of his time.

Since Kitoko joined the industry, he has demonstrated full dedication to his craft. The ‘Ikiragi’ star has performed in various countries including Uganda, Burundi, and the U.S.
