Rwandan midfielder Patrick Sibomana opened his goal account at Mozambican side Club Ferroviario Beira as he scored the lone goal of the match that helped his side beat Desportiva de Sofala 1-0 in the Maputo Provincial Cup semifinals on Monday to qualify for the final.

Sibomana headed home the winner in the 63rd minute following a delightful cross from the left after his side had built up an attack from the right,

The former Police FC player remained the engine of his side throughout the encounter as he bossed the midfield to great perfection.

Sibomana, 26, joined Ferroviario in February this year as a free agent after being released by Police FC in July 2022.

He previously also played for APR, Young Africans in Tanzania as well as Shakhter Soligorsk in Belarus.
