Parents have been relaxing and now that their children are on holidays and in their hands, they need to know how to handle them.

Parenting advice can go a long way when raising you child. Everything from good listening skills to bed-wetting to fussy eaters can be part of the journey in motherhood.

So make your life easier and use the parenting advice from our magazine. One of the hardest parts of parenting is getting our kids to listen to us and getting them to do what we ask.

Parenting advice shows that all you need to do is use a few important skills and getting your kids to listen will be much easier for you.

Take a minute to think before you issue a command, for example. Be specific and your words will become more accurate and meaningful.

Also, control you emotions; when you lose your temper and raise your voice, the logical result is that your child will pay closer attention to you but miss the point of your words and focus in your anger instead.

You will also want to get up close and personal. Children respond much better to a parent who is facing them eye-to-eye.
