Today
Electrogaz vs Etincelles
Marines vs Military

The national football league gets back to action today after a weekend off due to the national team’s international engagement.

In the two fixtures on card this afternoon, Electrogaz hosts Etincelles at Camp Kigali grounds while fellow new comers, Military are away to Marines in Gisenyi.

There was no league action over the weekend because of Amavubi Stars’ match against Burundi in the preliminary round of the Africa Nations Championship played on Sunday at Nyamirambo stadium, which the home side won 1-0 courtesy of Abedi Mulenda’s strike.
Electrogaz, last year’s second division league champion will be looking to rediscover their winning form in today’s against struggling Etincelles if they keep their dream alive of staying in this division at least for another year.

The newly promoted side stands in eighth spot on the table standing with 11 points, one ahead of today’s opponents after13 rounds of matches.

In the corresponding fixture, Etincelles came from behind to snatch a last minute equalizer despite being the second best team for most spells in the match.
Elsewhere, it will be a battle between two sides struggling to avoid relegation when the bottom two teams, Marines and Kibuye face off in Gisenyi.

Tomorrow, Rayon Sport returns to local action against AS-Kigali at Nyamirambo stadium after their malaise in continental engagement.
Raoul Shungu’s side is fourth with 24 points, seven behind leaders APR Fc who are not in action until the weekend.
