I am a resident of Gisenyi and like many others in the area I am concerned about the increasing number of stray dogs, especially at night.

We are worried about the spread of rabies as most of the dogs may not have been vaccinated against the fatal disease.

I am writing to ask our local leaders to seek an immediate solution to the menace.
