Rwanda slips down in Fifa rankings

AMAVUBI have slipped down two places to 114 in the latest Fifa World Rankings released on Wednesday. The drop comes after a rather impressive 3-1 victory over Eritrea in the 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier.

AMAVUBI have slipped down two places to 114 in the latest Fifa World Rankings released on Wednesday.

The drop comes after a rather impressive 3-1 victory over Eritrea in the 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier.

There was just one change in Africa’s top five, with Ghana and Algeria moving above Egypt, who slip from second to fourth.


The Elephants of Ivory Coast are still the top side on the continent, followed by Ghana, Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria, Senegal, Cameroon, South Africa, Cape Verde Islands and Tunisia round out the top 10.

Spain continues to lead the global rankings, despite their recent friendly loss to England. They are followed by Netherlands, Germany, Uruguay, England, Brazil, Portugal, Croatia, Italy and Argentina to make up the top 10.
