Without a doubt, the    Jamaican King of Dancehall, Elephant Man is coming to Kigali for the launch of Kamichi’s ‘Aho Runzingiye’ album.

Scheduled to take place on December 2 at the National University of Rwanda in Huye and Gikondo Expo Ground in Kigali – December 3, the organisers are making every effort to make it the best album launch concert ever.

Kamichi has selected the ‘Top cream’ from the local music scene, from every genre, who will keep with the image of his show — HOT.

Urban Boys, Dream Boys, Jay Polly, Riderman and Knowles are expected to perform at the launch. The entrance fee at the Expo Ground concert is Rfw5,000.

The energy god, Elephant Man currently on a rollicking rolls with tracks such as ‘Dwali’, ‘Coolie’, ‘Steps’ and ‘Bubble up’, is known for his feverishly hot performances that sometimes see him climbing atop speaker boxes and doing other daredevil stunts.

"It wasn’t easy bringing Elephant Man in here, but we realised that December being a month of festivities, Elephant Man was the right person to start the Christmas celebrations in Rwanda,” said Landry Jabo of East African Party, the organisers of the concert.

Before performing in Kigali, the 36-year-old will hold a concert at Kampala’s Lugogo Indoor stadium in Uganda.
