Kigali Institute of Management (KIM), Thursday, received an assortment of text books and other related library materials from PUM Netherland, a Dutch organisation.

The donation worth $15,000 was handed over by one of the organization`s expert, Jos Hermans, who promised continued support to the institute.

"We shall provide the latest text books annually and plans are underway to digitalize the school library through the installation of e-Granary facilities,” Hermans said. He added that there will also be automation of the library information systems to give students access to a wide range of information.

KIM board chairman, Peter Rutaremara, said: "In any school, a library is very important, especially one with the latest versions of books. There is no doubt our students will benefit in many ways,” Ruteramara said.

The Dutch organization has also played a significant role in building the capacity of KIM staff since 2009, he added.
