Editor,

I was pleased to learn ministers in charge of ICT of both Rwanda and Uganda agreed to jointly carry out initiatives like, cross-border connectivity and the National Identification Project.

Already, Rwanda is commended by many over her advancement in ICT usage. The two countries should double efforts as far as ICT is concerned because there is still room for getting better.

For instance, access to the internet and mobile networks can help people in the two countries access banking, medical services and greater markets.
