The move by the Ministry of Agriculture to regularly provide modern agricultural training to farmers will ultimately spur the sector.

Many Rwandans engage in agriculture and, training farmers, is a major stride in empowering the biggest percentage of our population. It is noteworthy that, once farmers obtain skills, they are able to diversify their range of crops.

The move by the Ministry of Agriculture to provide fertilisers to farmers at subsidised prices has also propped up agricultural output.
