Miss NUR represents Rwanda in Miss Tourism Queen International

Carine Umurerwa, Miss Butare 2007 from the National University of Rwanda, is in China, representing the country at the Miss Tourism Queen International finals.

Umurerwa is going up against beautiful and intelligent from more than 100 countries across the world.

The world pageant, which commenced March 20th and will conclude April 12th, combines visual and cultural enjoyment, emphasizing the promotion of tourism in countries and cities across the world.

We hear Miss Tourism Queen International serves as an international platform for the involved regions, business brands, tourist cities, tourist products, fashion and luxury goods.

Miss Tourism Queen International was founded by Mr. Charlie See in 2004.

Olga Zarubina from Russia was last year’s winner.

Cat fight over lucky fella

Word reaching us is that one of MTN’s babes identified only as Chantelle has been encroaching on already occupied territory. Snoops say Chantelle has been streaking a guy from one of the local NGOs, whom we have identified as Patrick.

However, it is reported that this guy has already been moving out with another hot babe called Coco. When Chantelle found out she went wild and started sending threatening messages to Coco.

Meanwhile Patrick is torn between the two babes and has decided to let the two ‘kitokos’, (striking chic) sort themselves out.

Ugandan pop idol spots Kitz

We’ve heard that one of Uganda’s biggest stars (who we are unable to name at this point) has decided to take the young Rwandan RnB group, Kitz, under his wing.

The Ugandan hip-hop artist has agreed to sponsor the Rwandan group.

Amanda Joyce a.k.a Kit, 18, and Brenda Mutesi a.k.a Reehp, 17, who are also said to be students at Kagarama Secondary School, in Kicukiro, have attracted the attention of the Ugandan celebrity.

Apparently the star has repeatedly invited Kitz to meet him in Uganda. The girls, as a result of tight study schedules, have not yet made it. We hear the girls, already nervous, cannot wait to finish their exams and meet their future sponsor.

Kitz, best known for their debut single, ‘Kuriya’ (‘Crying’), have released five songs and have successfully staged more than six concerts, including a recent one at Kigali Serena Hotel.
