Kudos to AERG for marking 15th anniversary

Editor,

CONGRATULATIONS to the Student Genocide Survivors Association (AERG) on their 15th Anniversary.

It is very encouraging to note that the AER, which was formed on 20 October, 1966 with just 12 students from the National University of Rwanda (NUR), has now grown into a full-fledged association with a membership of 43,000 students.

Many horrifying stories of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi abound. However, it is through such a vibrant body as the AERG, whose members witnessed some of the worst orgies of the Genocide, that it is possible, to in no uncertain terms, proclaim to the world "Never Again!”
