Arsenal can still win title

Editor,

I have been an ardent Arsenal fan for over ten years now. Though we started this season poorly, I am still confident that the team can bounce back and win a trophy even without Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.

Already, Arsenal has got its season back on track. Let us pray that our key players don’t get injured. We missed Thomas Vermaelen and Robin van Persie last season and this cost us a great deal.

Van Persie ‘s electric form proves to critics that without injuries, we have the ability to beat any team in Europe including those  in the big four category.

For instance, Arsenal played some scintillating football in their 5-3 win at Chelsea. After a stuttering start to the season, confidence among arsenal fans dwindled with some baying for team manager Arsene Wenger’s blood!

We have to be strong now because we have quality and can be successful. Let us have faith in our players and Wenger. Come on Arsenal!
