RDB must not relent Editor,

This letter is with reference to the article in yesterday’s issue of The New Times titled “RDB under scrutiny as investor seeks justice.” From my first visit to the country in 2008, as a delegate of the 1st East African Community Investment Conference and during the several dealings I have had with RDB, it is my firm belief that they have the ability to offer better services to investors who come to do business in the country.

This letter is with reference to the article in yesterday’s issue of The New Times titled "RDB under scrutiny as investor seeks justice.”

From my first visit to the country in 2008, as a delegate of the 1st East African Community Investment Conference and during the several dealings I have had with RDB, it is my firm belief that they have the ability to offer better services to investors who come to do business in the country.

I appreciate the tremendous pressure under which RDB functions, given the rapid and unprecedented growth, development and investments that are taking place in this great country.

I have met and interacted with various investors not only from India but also from different parts of the world over the last few years, and all have endorsed the fact that the services of RDB have always been of the highest order.

This should be maintained.

With the tremendous developmental activity that is taking place in the country and with investments, there could be a possibility of a dissatisfied investor.

The concerned authorities need to do the needful in such a case.  However, one must view the functioning of RDB or, for that matter, any other agency in totality.
