I was recently in Rwanda on a fact finding mission to see for myself whether the much talked about investment opportunities are indeed available. While in Kigali, I got in touch with a good friend who lived in Democratic Republic of Congo before he returned to Rwanda in 2009.

Together, we visited several districts including Musanze where we met several tourists coming from a gorilla tracking expedition. I had a conversation with them and they sounded excited about Rwanda’s tourism opportunities.

From my own experience, I can comfortably state that this country has potential to become a top tourist destination. No wonder, the country has in the past won many accolades and awards internationally.

I think any serious investor should put their money there.
