The Ministry of Education’s initiative, One Pint of Milk per Child programme, has registered tremendous success since its launch. News that the programme would spread to all schools countrywide is most welcome.

The distributed milk in some of the selected pilot schools has certainly addressed the issue of malnutrition among school children which, in turn, will help them focus on their education.
