Premier meets Rwandans in Switzerland

Prime Minister Pierre Damien Habumuremyi, on Sunday, met with members of the Rwandan Diaspora in Geneva. According to a statement, the Premier briefed them on various issues in the country. The Prime Minister urged Rwandans in Switzerland to play a role in the ongoing transformation of the country and maintain Rwandan values wherever they are.

Prime Minister Pierre Damien Habumuremyi, on Sunday, met with members of the Rwandan Diaspora in Geneva.

According to a statement, the Premier briefed them on various issues in the country.

The Prime Minister urged Rwandans in Switzerland to play a role in the ongoing transformation of the country and maintain Rwandan values wherever they are.

Ambassador Soline Nyirahabineza, the Rwandan envoy in Switzerland assured the Diaspora of the embassy’s continued support.

The President of the Rwandan Diaspora in Switzerland, Louis de Gonzague Munyazogeye, thanked the Premier for making time to meet them and assured him of the community’s support to their homeland.
 
The Prime Minister is leading a delegation which is travelling to Switzerland to attend the Broadband Commission meeting established by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and co-chaired by President Paul Kagame and Mexican tycoon, Carlos Slim.
