Cecafa ready to support Ntagungira

THE regional football body, Cecafa has offered its unrelenting support to new Ferwafa boss Celestin Ntagungira a.k.a Abega. The body’s Secretary General Nicholas Musonye said, “We wish Abega all the best in his new role as Ferwafa president and hope he will carry on from where his predecessor (Brig. Gen Jean Bosco Kazura) left off.”

THE regional football body, Cecafa has offered its unrelenting support to new Ferwafa boss Celestin Ntagungira a.k.a Abega.

The body’s Secretary General Nicholas Musonye said, "We wish Abega all the best in his new role as Ferwafa president and hope he will carry on from where his predecessor (Brig. Gen Jean Bosco Kazura) left off.”

"President Kagame has done a lot for Rwandan football and I’m sure Abega can get a few tips from him as well,” Musonye added.

Abega, who is a former FIFA assistant referee, beat Theonas Ndanguza to the position after Gerald Nkusi Mukubu and Clement Emmanuel Byiringiro’s last minute exits.

Ntagungira tallied 83 votes while Ndanguza received only four votes.
