AS Kigali women football team started their pre-season training yesterday with renewed zeal for a fourth league title.

Last season, the Kigali City Council side won a third consecutive league title but head coach Grace Nyinawumuntu has already challenged his guns to set another milestone by winning a fourth title.

"We will not let our success make us complacent. We want to defend the title and we shall do anything to make sure we achieve our goal,” she added.

The league kicks off December 11 with nine clubs in contention. The list includes AS Kigali, 2008 champions APR, Inyemera, Remera, Rubavu, Musanze, Bugesera, Les Lioness and the National University of Rwanda (NUR).
