Jean Damascene Bizimana (Southern Province)         Dr. Jean Damascene Bizimana, 49, holds a PhD in Law, Masters and BA degrees in Philosophy and Human sciences, and Religious Sciences and Theology.Bizimana is a lecturer on Genocide at the National University of Rwanda, and an independent consultant and researcher with wide experience and training from various countries.

Jean Damascene Bizimana (Southern Province)

Dr. Jean Damascene Bizimana, 49, holds a PhD in Law, Masters and BA degrees in Philosophy and Human sciences, and Religious Sciences and Theology.

Bizimana is a lecturer on Genocide at the National University of Rwanda, and an independent consultant and researcher with wide experience and training from various countries.

He has worked with RCN Justice and Democracy (an NGO in Rwanda), was a member of the national commission that investigated the role of France in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, as well as the commission that investigated the shooting down of the plane that was carrying former president Juvenal Habyarimana.

Mike Rugema (Eastern Province)
Rugema Is a former Rwandan Ambassador to Israel. He ALSO served as an advisor in the President’s Office and later headed the Community Development Fund (CDF).

He was once a deputy secretary general of the Council of Protestants in Rwanda. Rugema was also a Member of Parliament until 2008.

Dr Celestin Sebuhoro (Eastern Province)

Born in 1963 in Kayonza District, Dr Celestin Sebuhoro is a lecturer at the National University of Rwanda, and at the Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Education of Kibungo (INATEK).He holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Louvain University in Belgium.

Therese Bishagara Kagoyire (Western Province)

A holder of a degree in Molecular Biology, Bishagara is best known as the founding rector of Kigali Health Institute (KHI).

She also served as the Executive Director of Profemme Twese Hamwe, a local women association dedicated to the empowerment of women, peace and development.
