I believe that unless the regional countries work together to eliminate the Non Tariff Barriers (NTBs), the integration process of EAC will slow down.

Traders have continously complained about Non Tariff Barriers. Countries need to realise that NTBs will become impediments in the region and hamper economic growth.

The EAC people should push their governments to speed up the elimination of NTBs.
