Some mothers prefer keeping the bottles in fridges while others in containers which were purposely made to keep them.

It is not healthy for a baby to use only one bottle for a long time. If a bottle is used for a long time, it can accumulate dirty.

It shouldn’t be the role of only the maids to clean these bottles. Mothers should make sure that their baby’s bottles are clean and safe.

The baby’s feeding- bottles should be disposed off when they are old. Bottles with cracks should not be used; they can hurt the baby.

Like the bottles, a mother should try out various types of nipples to see what their baby prefers. If you have any difficult in choosing the best, seek help from your baby’s doctor. Bottles and nipples need to be sterilized before use. Most parents disinfect the bottles by placing it into warm water or boiling water for 5 minutes.

Disinfecting the bottle nipple by warm water is very crucial, it kills the germs and cleans out all the dirty which may be in the nipple.

Bottles and nipples which are not well disinfected may cause the baby  various infections or even diarrhea.

Bottles can only be disinfected by placing them in warm water. It is dangerous to put the bottles in the microwave; this can make the bottle to heat up and take long to cool hence burning the baby’s mouth.

Working mothers who leave their babies in the hands of the house maids should always remember to monitor closely their baby’s feeding bottles when they come back home.

Serious precautions should be given to the house maids. It is important for a working mother to leave the house in the morning when all her baby’s drinks and foodstuffs  are well prepared.
