The group showcased an interesting blend of cultures from India and Africa.
"The festivities began with a choir from the Happy Home and School for the Blind singing in as many as six different languages – English, Hindi, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese,” a statement from Rwanda Renaissance stated.
The function, according to the statement, brought together participants from over 20 countries consisting of consul generals, consuls, trade commissioners, officials from various national and international tourism boards, businessmen and the media.
The rich African culture was showcased by African students from the neighbouring city of Pune. The students from the award winning H.R. College of College and Economics depicted culture from the different states of India.
After the speeches and presentations, the curtain was brought down with a cocktail reception hosted by Holiday IQ, a leading travel service provider.
