I wish to congratulate all the new senators who at last made it to the Senate after a competitive campaign.

The electorate trusted the new senators with their votes and in return, we expect a lot from them.

The senators should know that they are the servants of the electorate and should always try their best to solve people’s problems.

They have been elected because of their previous record. For instance, the former Vice - Mayor of Kigali, Jeanne d’Arc Gakuba, had accomplished alot during her two full terms in Office and her good work has now won her a senate seat.
