What do you do in your free time?
Go to the gym, read and travel to the countryside.

What is your favorite sport?
I like soccer but I am not a fanatic. I used to play soccer but not anymore.

A few details about your favourite clubs (local and international)I like Barcelona and occasionally watch them especially when they play international matches.

What are your best personal attributes?
I love knowledge. I read for it.

Some advice to young employees?
When you get an opportunity to wash a cup, wash it like it has never been washed before. That is, when you are assigned work to do, do the best.

Training never ends. Learn as much as you can about your work and take a professional approach to your career. Start saving early by living a life that will allow you to save.

When you leave school or university, what you get is the power to read. Real reading begins when you come to the real world.  Reading is a perfect habit to keep your personal expenditure within limits and eventually enable you to start investing.  READ. READ. READ.

Do you remember any escape you were involved in as a child?
As a child in primary school in a place called west Pokot in North Rift Kenya, I went fishing alone by the banks of River Swam which feeds into Turkwel Gorge, now a power generation dam.

I was seated on a rock by the river. As I continued catching my fish and stringing them together on a rope, there was a sudden commotion as a large bird grabbed away the first fish on the rope.

As the bird flew away, the rest of the fish dropped off the rope and poured back into the river, this time landing on a crocodile’s head which was less than a metre from my legs.

In a split of a second, as pandemonium broke out between the flying bird and myself, the crocodile out of fright took off and that was when I realised that I was about to be eaten by a crocodile.

I have never gone fishing by a river again. Better fish in the stock market.
