NEWS that the country did exceptionally well in the distribution of mosquito nets, therapy financing and scaling up of insecticide treated mosquito nets is indeed commendable.

Officials from the Ministry of Health have done a great job to ensure that Rwandans live in a malaria-free environment.

Indeed, this is a great milestone in the struggle against the leading cause of deaths in most sub Saharan countries.

Nonetheless, while the country has done incredibly well in the afore-mentioned targets, this should not blind us and slow down our campaign against malaria.
