The highly anticipated men’s and women's basketball play-off games get underway this evening at Kepler University court and Aiper-Nyandungu court with the league’s top four fighting for the final spot in the best of three semi-final series.

In the men's category, Patriots will play against Tigers at Aiper-Nyandungu court, while REG will take on APR at Kepler University court in the best of three semi-finals, while in the women's category, REG will take on The Hoops at Aiper-Nyandungu court and APR will play against IPRC Huye at Kepler University court.

The 4 teams at this stage are playing in a format of "best of three series” where the teams play two games against each other. If one team wins both ties, it advances to the finals. However, if the teams win a match each, then they have to play a third game which is the ultimate decider of who will go to the finals.

The playoff winner will represent the country at the BAL 2023 in the men's category while the winner in the women's fray will represent the country in FIBA Africa Zone V Club Championships.
